Mobile Library: Your library on-the-move

Venue – KG Hall

Schedule – Mondays and Thursdays / 9:20 – 9:50 AM (Elementary Break Time)

Goals
– To encourage students to read in a fun and different environment
– To encourage the students to read more English and Arabic books.
– To enhance the reading skills of the students in both Arabic and English.
– To equip Library Friends to become fluent speakers through storytelling.

A total of 91 English and Arabic library books were placed in the Mobile Library cart . This was made available for the students to read during their break time from 9:20 to 9:50 AM in the KG Hall on Monday, February 12, 2018.

Some students grab storybooks from the Mobile Library cart to read alone and some read together with their friends.

A total of 101 English and Arabic library books were placed in the Mobile Library cart, including Arabic big books.

Bean bags were placed around the reading carts for the storytellers for Library Friends to sit on.

More and more students came to read English and Arabic storybooks from the Mobile Library cart. Students are so happy to read.

Students gobbled their sandwiches as quick as they could just to get on with reading! They are having so much fun and learning at the same time.
